HELPFUL DETAILS AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS CAN BE FOUND BELOW.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE? The wedding is Black Tie Optional. Tuxedos are encouraged; dark suits in black, navy, or charcoal are equally appropriate. Floor-length gowns, refined midis, or polished cocktail attire in elevated fabrics are recommended. Portions of the celebration will take place on lawns and stone pathways; block heels or elegant flats are advised.
ARE CHILDREN INVITED? While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating together.
WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS? The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors on the estate grounds. Thoughtful accommodations and contingency plans are in place to ensure comfort throughout the day.
WHAT TIME SHOULD GUESTS ARRIVE? The ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM. Guests should be seated by 2:15 PM. Please plan to arrive early to allow adequate time for shuttle travel and seating.
HOW DO WE GET TO THE VENUE? Guest parking is not permitted at the venue due to residential restrictions. Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from select hotels, with details shared closer to the date. Uber and Lyft also operate throughout the area.
CAN I DRIVE MYSELF TO THE WEDDING? Guests are kindly asked not to drive or attempt to park near the venue. Shuttle service or rideshare transportation is required for all guest arrivals.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY? We respectfully ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and remain fully present with us. Our photographer will capture the moment, and images will be shared afterward.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINKS BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION? Yes. Guests are invited to enjoy light fare, signature refreshments, and entertainment during the interlude prior to the formal reception.
DO I NEED TO RSVP FOR ALL EVENTS? Kindly RSVP for the wedding day itself. Guests are also invited to indicate attendance for the Welcome Party and Farewell Brunch; responses are appreciated, though attendance is welcomed regardless of prior reply.
WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR ALLERGIES? Guests will have the opportunity to note dietary restrictions when submitting their RSVP. Our culinary team will do their best to accommodate all needs.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR THE WEATHER? Early August in Ithaca is typically warm during the day and cooler in the evening. A light layer is recommended for later hours.
IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED AT THE END OF THE NIGHT? Yes. Return shuttles will operate throughout the evening, with the final departure scheduled for 11:00 PM.
CAN I BRING A PLUS-ONE? Plus-ones are by invitation only and will be indicated on your RSVP.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATIONS? We recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible, as August is a popular time in Ithaca. Hotel block rates are available through July 7, 2026, or until sold out.
